What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible

We follow the data protection laws that apply to us, including Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

What we collect

Merchant and sales data from your Grab and LINE MAN accounts — menus, prices, orders, sales, advertising performance, reviews. This is business data, not personal data.

Contact details of the people we work with at your business: name, role, email, phone.
•
Account data for the FoodBear dashboard: login identity and activity.
•
Billing data: your company name, tax ID, billing address, invoices and payments.
•
We do not collect payment card details. Payments are processed by Airwallex on their own page; card details never reach us.

Our role
We do not expect to handle personal data belonging to your customers. Where we do, we handle it on your behalf: you are the data controller, we are the processor. We use it only to provide the service and as you instruct, keep it secure, and make sure our people are bound by confidentiality.

Data leaving the country
We use cloud, analytics and AI providers that may process data outside Thailand and Singapore. Where we transfer personal data abroad we follow sections 28 and 29 of the Thai PDPA and put appropriate safeguards in place. We can tell you which providers we use if you ask.

If something goes wrong
If personal data we hold is lost, exposed or accessed without permission, we will tell you as soon as we can and in any case within 72 hours of finding out, and help with your investigation and any notices you have to give.

How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as we work together, plus what we are required to keep for accounting and tax. When the agreement ends, or if you ask in writing, we return or securely delete the personal data we hold, apart from copies the law requires us to keep and routine backups.

Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, or to explain how we comply with this policy — once a year, in writing, and we answer within 20 business days. Write to billing@getfoodbear.com.

This website
We use cookies that are necessary for this website to work and to understand how it is used. You can accept, refuse or delete them at any time in your browser settings, and refusing them will not stop you using the site.
Some pages load resources from third parties — fonts, embedded content and our website platform — which means those providers receive your IP address.
We do not use this website to collect personal data for advertising, and we never sell or share your data. For anything about your data, write to billing@getfoodbear.com.
